NDF celebrated Day of Unity in Nawabshah Report By: Abid Khan Lashari Dated: 05 th December 2010   The Day of Unity was celebrated with zeal and fervour in Sindh including Nawabshah. Different Political parties and NGOs celebrated it in Nawabshah. Nawabshah Disability Forum (NDF) took out rally from NDF office Bhanghwar Colony passing various roads reached at press club.. Speaking on the occasion Abid Lashari said that Unity is only guaranty of our sovereignty. He said Disabled people are together with non disabled people in the welfare and development of Society. All the participants of rally sung national songs and made dance at music. Persons with disabilities made human chain a symbol of unity during the celebrations of day of unity.

NDF celebrated Culture Day with zeal and fervour in Nawabshah BY: Abid Khan Lashari Date: 4 th December 2010 The culture day was celebrated with zeal and fervour in Nawabshah. Different Political parties, NGOs took part actively in the activities of the day. Nawabshah Disability Forum taken out rallies members were wearing cultural clothes with Sindhi Cap and Ajrak, the rally started from NDF office marching through various roads and chowks, having play cards inscribed slogans of “Sindhi Topi, Ajrak Shan Asan Jo, Maan Asan Jo” reached at press club. Speaking on the occasion Abid Lashari said that Sindhi culture is proud for Sindhi nation. Persons with Disabilities are also part of this culture. They vowed to celebrate the day annually with zeal.. Disabled people were ride on tri-cycles, Tri-Motor Cycles, wheel chairs during the rally. International Day of Disabled People NDF observed 3 rd December with zeal and fervour in Nawabshah NDF urged Government to ratify UNCRPD Date: 03 rd December 2010 Report By: Abid Khan Lashari Nawabshah Disability Forum (NDF) member Sindh Disability Forum (SDF) and DPI-Pakistan with coordination of National Center of Special Education, Social Welfare Department taken out walk for cause to mark International Day of Disabled People here on Friday. Hundreds of disabled children and Government officials, NGO activists participated in the rally started from DCO office marched various roads and reached at press club. Addressing on the occasion DO Revenue Zahoor Hussain Gujjar said that disabled people are important part of mainstream society. They are very intelligent and they have proved themselves capable in various competitions. He lauded services of NDF to support disability-cause in the district. He assured possible support from District government Shaheed Benazir Abad.

NDF observed Universal Children Day ONE DAY SEMINAR HELD TO MARK UNIVERSAL CHILDREN DAY Dated: 20-11-2010 BY: Abid Khan Lashari Nawabshah Disability Forum organized one day seminar to celebrate Universal Children day here on Saturday. The theme of the day was “promoting International togetherness and awareness among children, especially children with disabilities”. Speaking on the occasion Chief Guest Executive District Officer Finance and Planning Mr. Farooque Ahmed Mahesar said that this day is an occasion celebrated to promoting the welfare of children and an making an understanding between children’s all over the world. He stressed need to understand the rights of children especially children with disabilities. He said children are equal without discrimination disability, they mostly deprived of basic right of education. World Human Rights Day 2010 No discrimination with disabled People: Abid Lashari BY: Abid Lashari Nawabshah Disability Forum (NDF) organized one day seminar to mark Human Rights Day in Nawabshah here on Friday. Speaking on the occasion Abid Lashari President NDF said that the theme of the day was human rights defenders who act to end discrimination. He said disabled people are facing discrimination at all spheres of life in the Society. He demanded to stop discrimination with disabled people. He further said that disabled people are not patients to be cured; they are not children to be cared into homes and not gods to be worshiped. But they are human being; they have same rights like others. Persons with disabilities should be offered equal opportunities to enjoy their rights.
